About Me
Hi, I’m Carson McCoy, an Industrial Engineering student at the University of Arkansas (B.S., Class of 2027) with hands-on experience in both technical analysis and large-scale project management.
I am passionate about applying problem-solving, teamwork, and technical skills to drive operational efficiency and improve systems. With additional experience in leadership roles, research, and personal projects, I bring a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and adaptability that I am eager to grow through future internships and career opportunities in engineering and operations.
Through my internship at US Vanadium, I worked as both a lab technician and project manager, gaining exposure to experimental testing, data analysis, process optimization, and the coordination of a multi-million-dollar flaking furnace project. I also contributed to designing specialized storage systems for high-risk industrial applications, collaborating closely with engineers, contractors, and leadership teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and quality.
